Profiltra Italia Srl makes use of pilot plants for industrial scale-ups (small and medium-sized process plants that replicate the behaviour of large industrial plants) by conducting on-site tests for the construction of tailor-made membrane systems and performs laboratory analyses on the treated samples with the release of a report complete with technical data.

This is the first step in the development of a wastewater treatment plant to test the feasibility and effectiveness of the project.

Laboratory analysis: the purpose of the laboratory analysis is to identify the characteristics of the wastewater to be treated by determining its self-purification capacity and whether it can be reused. Analyses are carried out by our specialised personnel using a wastewater treatment and disposal platform.

The analysis procedure involves:

• definition of the target and sampling strategy;
• identification of the number of samples to be analysed;
• choice of equipment to be used;
• duration and frequency of sampling;
• preservation of samples;
• release of the report complete with technical data.

Consulting: in addition to modern wastewater purification systems, Profiltra Italia Srl offers consulting for capex** and opex*** evaluations in various industrial processes. This means concrete help in managing operating and investment costs for individual companies in order to make them more profitable and productive.

The consultancy consists of the following activities:

• identification of the problem and possible solutions respecting customers’ needs;
• feasibility studies;
• preliminary plant design and drawing.
